Enthusiastic bird watcher's will enjoy trying to identify the more than 200 bird species to be found in the area, the ostrich of course being the easiest The circle route from the Oudemuragie farm road via De Rust, Meiringspoort, Prince Albert, back via to the Swartberg Pass and Cango Caves is one of the most popular drives in the area.
